
Dry scrubbing using a machine
To remove highly stubborn soilingfrom floor coverings using a suitable scrubbing brush or the scrubbing pad and LS single-brush machine. To remove the loosened dirt (e.g. dry vacuuming). Suitable for robust floor coverings.
Preparatory work
Select suitable products to match the surface to be cleaned (type / square metres) and the type of soiling.
Check, equip and ready the machine and all accessories in compliance with the instructions for use.
Mount the suction unit and the suction ring on the single-brush machine.
Put up the warning sign.
Cover vulnerable areas (e.g. skirting boards) as needed.
Remove any loose dirt (dust-binding mopping or dry vacuum cleaning).
Main task
First use the edge cleaning tool or a small area cleaning machine with a suitable pad to manually dry scrub along the edges.
Attach the scrubbing pad with LS pad drive disc or the scrubbing brush to the LS single-brush machine.
Set the correct height for the upright handle.
Switch on the machine. The connection must audibly click into place.
Dry scrub the floor using the LS single-brush machine with scrubbing pad or scrubbing brush in overlapping passes. After every 2 or 3 passes, work in a circular or cross-wise motion (painter method) until all dirt has been removed.
Reverse or replace pads when they get dirty.
Remove the loosened dirt by means of dry vacuuming.
Perform a visual check.
Final steps
Check the fill level of the filter bag on the suction unit; change the bag if it is full.
Check the power cable for visible damage, clean the cable and roll it up loosely towards the plug.
Remove the covering material.
Remove the warning sign.
Rinse the used pads and wash them in the washing machine.
Dispose of any waste.
Clean the cleaning equipment and replace as needed.
